On Newdon Industries Swim days, the Township will grant free admission to the first forty (40) children and youth who arrive at the admissions desk within fifteen (15) minutes of the scheduled start time of the swim.

Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington's Hands on For Housing Showcase Celebration General

Join us for Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington’s biggest event of the year, as we conclude a 3-day Youth & Housing Conference focused on shaping the future of affordable housing. This first of its kind event showcases the innovative solutions of our local youth, who are leading the charge in envisioning a better housing future for all.

The evening will feature presentations from the next generation of housing advocates, offering a fresh perspective on affordable housing challenges. Plus, don’t miss the live auction of youth-built backyard structures, as well as refurbished rooms by design students with furniture from the ReStore all up for auction. 

This is more than a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity’s ongoing builds; it’s a celebration of creativity, community and collaboration. Enjoy delicious food and beverages as you connect with fellow community members and take part in important conversations about affordable housing solutions.

Pre-Christmas Sale by Elora Book Sale for Elora Festival General

Back by popular demand, the Elora Festival Book Sale is holding a Pre-Christmas sale of gently used children's books, games, puzzles, paperback and hardcover adult books, CDs and DVDs, Christmas music, and a surprise selection of special items chosen by our volunteers. All items are offered at excellent prices, but sales are CASH only.

This pre-sale is being held to make more room for the donations for our huge sale held at the Elora Curling Club on May 2-4, 2025. The Book Depot drop-off shed is open 24/7 from June - April at 380 St. Andrew Street West, Fergus, and your donations are gratefully accepted.
